“You took the vision in my head and made it come to life.”

Jonathan “Ro” Rosales was born and raised in North Austin, Texas. He grew up in a low-income home with more ideas than equipment, and one clear pull: to create, to rap, and to connect with people through music.

So he went to work. The first thing he bought was a microphone, before he even owned a computer. It sat on a shelf until he could save for everything it needed around it. Then he taught himself the rest, one skill at a time: recording, mixing and mastering, songwriting, photography, video, design and the web.

As he helped more people with their songs, shoots and projects, he kept hearing the same words: “It’s like you took the vision in my head and made it come to life.” After hearing it enough times, Ro felt the call to turn it into a business, and took the leap of faith. That is where the name Vision2Life Media comes from.

Nineteen years in music and seventeen in ministry later, those self-taught skills are how he serves. Ro helps people bring their visions to life, and does it to glorify Jesus. Churches, nonprofits, Christian businesses and artists are the people he loves working with most, and every project is a chance to share the love of Christ.
